Within Horde, how do I turned on "Move deleted messages to your Trash mailbox instead of marking them as deleted in the current mailbox?" server-wide by default?

    I do have root access.

    Is it within /usr/local/cpanel/base/horde/config/prefs.php somewhere?

    Hello @davetanguay,

You can find a user-submitted workaround on the following thread:

    Pre-configure Horde for all users.

However, the file path looks to have changed since the time it was posted. The updated file path is:

    /usr/local/cpanel/base/horde/imp/config/prefs.php

Note that this file is overwritten by default when cPanel updates, so you'd have to develop a custom bash script that automatically makes this change, and then configure it to run after each cPanel update. Information on how to make custom scripts run after cPanel updates (upcp) is available at:

    Thank you.
