    Is anyone else having an issue with horde, before I log a fault?

    I can log in, select the language and then am presented with the main page. Here I select the Mail icon in the left menu. "There are no messages in this mailbox."
    So I select the Inbox underneath that icon "There are no messages in this mailbox."

    BUT if I telnet using pop3, I get the following:
    stat
    +OK 5 45341

    Now, using IMAP from command line:

    02 select inbox
    * 5 EXISTS
    * 3 RECENT

    All connections were the saqme when connecting from localhost and also an external site.

    Can anyone confirm the same or give me any hints as to why horde is not showing any email when there is quite obviously email there?

    running Current52

    Thanks

    Ok, I found a problem...
    if blah@domain.com has the same password as blah (local user not under a domain) I get the blah inbox instead of the blah@domain.com, even though I have sent accross the username with the domain part (blah@domain.com). If the passwords are different I get the correct mailbox.

    So it seems, if a customer provisions a mailbox with the same suername and password as a local user(one that was created with adduser as opposed to usaing cpanel to create) the local mailbox takes precedence.

    Is this restricted to only my setup?

    I was having this same issue, and it never made since till you just mentioned what you found.

    I have a user fizz (at a certain domain). Then I have an account in which the main username for it is fizz also. So i have an account (fizz) and an email fizz@domain.com, however they are not part of the same account, the email is part of bc42e which is another one of my accounts.

    This should help give someone some info as to WHY this is happening. I remember a thread a while back regarding this issue, but no one ever found a cause. Someone mentioned that if you delete the email account and recreate it, it would correct the problem. This did happen for some, but not others.
