Hello,
I'm experiencing problems with emails that are sent from web pages to Horde 3.0.2. The problems occur when using:
1) PHP's mail() function
2) FormMail CGI-scripts, like Matt Wright's FormMail
When opening such emails all German and Scandinavian letters (ä, ö, å) are converted to Chinese letters, question marks, 䬬 symbols etc. However, when choosing "reply" it all looks as it should.
Here is an email I received yesterday:
Subject:
NICLAS vill tipsa dig om n姯t
Message:
Hej!
Jag vill tipsa dig om en ny tj䮳t,
som Du finner p堼a Dagens Industris hemsida

And here is how it looks when I click the "reply" button:

There is no problem with "normal" emails that are being sent from one email address to another. It only happens with emails that have been sent through php or cgi.
With kind regards
