    Hello,

I was checking out webmail options recently as I was disappointed with Horde, RoundCube, and of course the very basic Squirrel, and discovered that the version of Horde on my WHM 11.34.1 B7 is 3.3.13 but on the Horde demo it's 5.0.1. Am I missing something and not comparing these apples to apples, or is the one with CPanel just really out of date? If so, how would one go about upgrading that (upgrade-horde --force doesn't change anything)?

    Thanks,
    Dave

There is an open internal case (#50766) related to updating to Horde Groupware 5.0.4, but there is no indication that it is to be implemented any time soon.

Okay thanks. Any thoughts on how best to get that current version on my WHM server?

    Thanks,
    Dave

None, you'll need to wait for cPanel to push this out. Taking any other route in advance of that could prove problematic for you.

Well software that's more than a year old could be problematic too. And with all due respect, I'm not really excited about waiting patiently for something with a priority of "no indication that it is to be implemented any time soon".

    Thanks anyways,
    Dave
