I have a customer who uses Horde regularly, however, last week, Horde stopped deleting emails on a couple of his accounts. I've checked the permissions on all of the webmail files, and they appear just fine. When he tries to delete an email, it acts like it is doing so, but then the screen refreshes and the email is still there.

He has to keep going into NeoMail to delete emails and is really getting irritated.

    Anyone have any idea?

Has this been solved yet? I'm having the same problem. I'm also unable to move emails to another directory, they get copied instead, but not removed.

This sometimes happens if you are close or over disk space limit.

User's at 250 MB of 500MB quota. mount -o remount didn't help either.
Mailbox doesn't have a quota set.

Today we had exact problem with one mailbox and latest STABLE version.

    We fixed with this technique:

    - make copy of files for backup and move somewhere else
    - remove mail account in Cpanel
    - create exact mail account
    - copy backup inbox file over new
    - re-log into Horde and try delete now

In our case this fix works perfect!

    Regards.

not a resolution...as this is happening across the board

i now have atleast 30 clients making this claim each with 10+ mailboxes.

    Mail queue is building fast.
Mail is not being deleted from inbox regardless of download or webmail access suddenly.

Very strange, however is there possibly another global fix?

The current fix is appropriate if this issue doesn't return, however this is not an easily implemented fix.

    Anyone?

    Hello All,

I have solved this issue for two different clients by below stpes .

    1) When checked in horde >> Option >> under Delete mail >> there was no file set as Trash. You need to set it as delete mail and folder option as trash. If it still gives you error then check if you have file )INBOX.Trash in users mail box. If its not there create it manually using shell access and set permissions.

    2) For another user there was same problem but by creating new file from Shell. and by Setting delete mail option from horde didnot worked. So I checked for disk space alloted to this user cpanel and mail boy it was out of space... :( I should have checked it before going round and round. but well the problem was solved.

    3) Another user was having same problem of mails not getting deleted from horde. This was not related to Disk space, OR file not set in horde option. For this I did trick. I just moved users INBOX and all other files to different location /root/username.bck and then wait ... and again place them back to to users mailbox. This worked .. These are the only solutions for mails not getting deleted from horde.

Try these all and if still have problem then get2som....:)
