    Hi there,
possible there is no automatic way for this, but I was wondering...

Host Access Control it´s a nice tool but very limited. For example, here we have dynamic ip and because of this, it´s impossible deny all and allow us.

But in all kind of attack that we had on our servers I realized that it was made allways for ip´s from other countries. So, instead to block all and allow one ip, would interesting block all and allow one country.

Ok, manually I think is possible but would be a hell to manage all my country ip's range.

I think it would be nice cause I would block ftp, sshd and cpanel access from ip´s that are not from my country (I am considering the fact all my customers is from my country and do not travel a lot ;) ).

So... do you know if there is a simple way to do that?

    Thanks

If you look around these forums or just around the general Internet, I believe there is a list of countries and the IP ranges they are known to have. Just remember, you can type IP* instead of IP to avoid the issue of each search phrase having a 3 character minimum.

The on-screen documentation actually has an example of allowing multiple IP ranges (yes, you can enter ranges - you don't need to enter individual IPs) but denying anyone not in any of those ranges.
