Hi,
I have set whostmgrd allow to ONLY my IP and deny ALL and yet I am still receiving daily brute force protection emails from several IPs.
Correct me if I'm wrong but Host Access Control apparently is not working.
Can you please suggest a better solution to stop hackers from accessing WHM and CPanel?

Are you sure they are not cpanel attempts rather than whm? It's also a good idea to block ssh too!

No these are Excessive Login Failures from reported by WHM

Here is my Host Access Control configuration:

Looks OK to me so I'd say open a ticket. Have you tried accessing WHM from a different IP to see if it tells you.

I can't actually get my FTP deny to work as I think it doesn't cover the FTP software's used on cpanel.

I'd be interested if you get to the bottom of this.
