host & nameserver!!

    hello
    can shared hosting have private name server ?
    or just resellers can have it.

    You can add a new DNS record for other nameservers.

    That is up to your web host. We only offer private name servers for certain accounts like our Premium, Semi-dedicated and Reseller accounts. Our shared accounts use our master name servers. So technically you might be able to talk your host into this, it would require them to keep up with your custom DNS zonefile when changes are made to the systems. Most will do it for a small fee.

    I mean 'Add Zone' or if the domain is already in use you can also use 'Edit Zone'. Have a look at the zone file of your current nameservers and set the NS records for the second nameserver.

    hello
    if i type ns1.domainhost.com ns2.domainhost.com in NS FILID FROM EDIT DNZ ZONE

    so they name servers wil use wich ip? :eek:
