One (and only one) of my accounts is not able to receive mail, either through the default address or any additional mailboxes, unless it is sent locally. When trying to send this account an email from another computer, an error appears that looks like this:

----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----

----- Transcript of session follows -----
550 5.1.2 <>... Host unknown (Name server: username.: host not found)

I tried deleting the account and restoring it, to no avail. In addition, deleted the DNS zone through WHM and create a new one, but the error is still there.

I'd greatly appreciate any advice that can be given in regards to this problem.

    Dear Shade,

Test that particular account using the following web utility (email dossier) which will help to throw more light on the problem.

Click e-mail dossier option and provide the e-mail ID to know the status of it.

I doubt an corrupt Inbox file.
