Hosting with NO control panel wants to imigrate to cpanel folder permissions Question

I want to move my site that was designed by some body long time ago to cpanel hosting
Right now there is no control panel

My problem is all the files and folders permission in the old site , I do not have any idea as the designer has gone and the site is too huge.

How can I easily have a list of all folders and file permission before I move?
Or can cpanel some how detect that?

If it's just the website and its files that you're moving, you'd place them all inside public_html. There is a way to change all files and all directories owner and permissions, but you should read up about how to do that first:
