Okay..

I set the hostname to node2.domain4me.com
the nameservers are set to ns1.domain4me.com and ns2.domain4me.com
This is in the admin level of WHM

I then created a reseller account with the domain, domain4me.com
Things are not working well and when i login to domain4me.com at the cpanel level and switch to the whm via cpanel it takes me to my admin level??

Could someone explain the basic hostname/nameserver setup?

The hostname is supposed to be a domain right? That is registered through a registrar?

Thanks.

Can you be more specific? What error messages are you encountering?

The domain of the hostname (in your example: domain4me.com) must be a registered domain. The hostname is not something that needs to be registered with the registrar.

However, the IP addresses of your nameservers do need to be registered with your registrar. Contact your registrar for assistance.
