Hostname appears in 2 IPS -WHM Linux
As I was rearanging our A server's IPs since we have moved some accounts into another server, I realised that the hostname appeared in two different IPs! In fact the second IP needs to be deleted from this server as has been assigned to another server but this is not possible since the hostname appears in this as well as in the correct IP.

    Any hint?

    OS CENTOS 5.5 i686
    cPanel 11.25.0-S46156 - WHM 11.25.0 - X 3.9

Sorry, but you have messed up the question.

It depends on which server is hosting the DNS record for your hostname. Normally, I have seen a problem when you ask WHM to add an A record for your hostname and create an account for the domain used in hostname, there are 2 DNS zones exist.

    host.example.com.db
    example.com.db

The latter can also have an A record for "host". I feel no problem in deleting the first DNS zone (host.example.com.db) if the situation is similar.

That was what I could understand :D You may explore your quest much in order to get best answers from community.

    Thank you for your reply.
To clear this out, I see my hostname appearing in two different IPs I clicked the WHM option "Show IP Usage".
Didn't check with the .db files which I'll check.
    Thanks for your reply.

As in your reply I checked these two .db files and do not have any wrong entries.
