Hostname Force SSL

Hi,

So my hostname pulls up the /cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi, but I would like to know if there is a way to force it to load over https? So if someone goes to http://myserver.mydomain.com/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi it forces https://myserver.mydomain.com/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi

Hey there! It's funny that you should mention this as I actually *just* submitted an improvement case on this issue. Currently, while you can install an SSL for Apache on the hostname through the WHM >> Install an SSL Certificate on a Domain, there is no tool that redirects the defaultwebpage.cgi page to an https connection. The case I submitted is CPANEL-32790 so I'd recommend watching our change logs at 88 Change Log | cPanel & WHM Documentation for an update - once the case number is displayed there it will be available in that version of cPanel.
