    Hello.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

A few days ago I ordered a VPS from surfspeedy.com.
I've already gone through and completed the basic setup with my hostname being vps.htbaw.com
    Nameservers ns1.htbaw.com and ns2.htbaw.com.

    htbaw.com was registered at 1and1.com.

1and1.com doesn't offer me the ability to assign ip numbers instead of nameservers.
I called 1and1.com 3 times now. The third time I actually got someone that wasn't trying to get me to enter nameservers again.

She said I needed to create subdomains.

Since I have ns1 and ns2 entered in the basic setup and the a records check out, isn't that all I need to do?
