    Hello,

Whats the problem with that? If you "Allow direct requests", you will be able to see and save (if needed). Is that what you mean?

afaik hotlink checks to see if the request has an outside referer, and does not allow the download. By clickling on a link outside your site you get the outside referer.

But if you click save target as on an outside link the referer is empty, thus it allows you to download.

    So it's kinda' normal behaviour.

You might try serving the downloads via a redirect, and you can specificaly ask in the redirect script that the referer is your site and only your site.

    something like sourceforge has

    http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/gallery/gallery-2.1.1a-full.tar.gz

This link for example, if you try to wget it, you'll see it's actually a html page.
Until you click a mirror link, you can not download the tar.gz

Wyou can do this with php scripting, and a bit of htacces. A better programmer than me can help you with that :)

Please do not bump threads in the forum. If no-one wishes to help you'll have to look into the issue yourself and/or speak to your web hosting provider.

i still don't understand what you want. If you are going to ask for help, at least make sure people will understand or ask politely. You seems to be scolding at people who are trying to help.

If you mean cPanel staff, then you need to contact them directly by logging a ticket through your cPanel license provider.
