Hotlink Protection & WMA

    hey..i need ur support..
    when i active hotlink protection for WMA files, then i can not open them from my site....they wont wrok at all not into my site and not out from mysite...it is killing WMA files!

    i read in these forums that they couldn't find a way to solve this problem... but may be they did it yeterday or NOW...

    so what should i do NOW???:confused: :eek: :mad:

    Checking the box that says Allow Direct Requests worked for me and .wmv files. Should work for .wma.

    did you check that nobody can connect to your wma files from out your site?

    did you make a page included the wma file and took it to another host to make sure that it can not connect to your WMA host?

    yeah..it's look like working good...
    may be the problem was becoz the internet tempory files..and REFRESH..
    when u click on refresh WMA files stil ae playing from tempory files..

    thats all
    so it's working goood:D

    hot linking

    The file types I am using are wav file format. If I click allow direct they are able to be hotlinked from? Any suggestions?
