    Hi,

I'm having problems with Hotmail. Its blocking emails from my server.
I've emailed them, and my IP isn't blocked, and they say implement SPF.

I get no bounceback, and they aren't even put into hotmails junk email.

I sent a test email to hotmails staff and they say that its getting through, but been flagged by their spam filters.

I can't get a straight answer about SPF.
Do i need just to put a record for zeus.glxhost.com in, or does EVERY domain on my server need an SPF record?

Every domain needs its own SPF. I set it up in the DNS template for customers that use our servers only. Then tweak anyone who has a different setup.

Is there anyway to do this easily?
Like just setup something in named.conf so that every zone has this TXT line in it?

I don't want to have to modify every zone.

If you forward email with SPF setup. it will most likely be blocked, as that is what SPF will do. Look at the notes on SPF's site.

Microsoft has two options for you. You can register and see the amount of spam delivered by you IP's and you can get on their feedback loop to actually get the spam sent back to you.

    Hi!
I added a .txt record like this to all my DNS zones: "v=spf1 a mx ~all"

    Is this enough?

    Thanks,
