how allow root to ftp into the server

    I know this can be a security issue. But i need to do this for a few hours. I am unable to do this in the /etc/pure-ftpd.conf

    I have set the
    MinUID 0

    but still I am unable to do this. Can you please help me with this.

    If you need to FTP files to root you should use SFTP instead and do it through SSH. A good free client which can do that is filezilla - http://filezilla.sf.net
