How Bandwidth is calculated in cpanel

Hello All,

Can anyone briefly explain how the bandwidth usage is calculated in cpanel? It gathers information from domlogs files only? If yes, how is it actually calculated? If not, which all files does it use to determine the BW usage of a domain?
