How can i access a website the shared IP

    Hi,

    I f my domain name is not pointing yet to my server for example, is it possible to access to a hosted site using the server IP ?

    If you want to access the website using the server IP itself i.e. http://xx.xx.xx.xx , then you will have to edit the Apache configuration file located at

    and make sure that the NameVirtualHost entry of the Shared IP should be placed just above the VirtualHost entry of your domain name. Once done, restart the httpd service and your website will be available on your Shared IP address.

    Hello,

    You can also access it by adding a entry of the domain and the shared ip in the host file on the local machine.
