I was wondering if someone could tell me if it is possible to change the default cpanel name when logging in thru cpanel from a browser?
as in: http://example.com/cpanel changed to http://example.com/xpanex or whatever?
I have a server that runs only my personal domains/sites and thought that this might provide at least some sort of diversion for invalid login attempts from fun seekers. I am really tired of people trying to weasel into my accounts and reading my log files telling me that some script has made a bazillion attempts at username/password and failed once again. Everyone and their brother knows how to access cpanel, so I would think this could be a per domain or global change I have missed somewhere?
If this is an easy change and I have missed it, my apologies to those in the know.
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.
