I was wondering if someone could tell me if it is possible to change the default cpanel name when logging in thru cpanel from a browser?

as in: changed to or whatever?

I have a server that runs only my personal domains/sites and thought that this might provide at least some sort of diversion for invalid login attempts from fun seekers. I am really tired of people trying to weasel into my accounts and reading my log files telling me that some script has made a bazillion attempts at username/password and failed once again. Everyone and their brother knows how to access cpanel, so I would think this could be a per domain or global change I have missed somewhere?

If this is an easy change and I have missed it, my apologies to those in the know.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

For sure you can do this by altering the appropriate ScriptAlias entries in your httpd.conf file. However i can't think of a way to prevent cpanel adding them again in the next update of configuration change.
