On a new server, I accidentally ran an easyapache rebuild with PHPSuExec which installed php as CGI. I've tried serveral times to rebuild with php as module, to no avail.

I've unchecked the option to skip Apache if up to date

    I've unchecked the PHPSuExec options

I've rebuilt it with Option 1 default

    I've follwed the advice in
    http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread.php?t=13286&highlight=force+php+module

    None of which worked.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks

    Jeanne

You've uncommented the lines mentioned in the other thread and restarted apache yes ?

When compiling via easyapache, did you have the verbose option enabled ? If so, were there any errors present ? If not, might be worth another shot.

    Also FYI,

    It's PHPSuExec, not Susex :)

    It's also PHPSuExec, NOT, SuExec

Yes, the following lines are uncommented in /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf

    LoadModule php4_module libexec/libphp4.so

    AddModule mod_php4.c

    (They were already uncommented)

    And yes, I restarted Apache

I just checked both again following your post.

(Also corrected my stupid mistake in the my previous post :) )
