    example:
    root:x:0:0:root:/root:/bin/bash
    root2:x:0:0:root:/root:/bin/bash

    UserID 0 mean SuperUser.
    "root" is only name.

if i'm not mistaken, you can create reseller account from WHM and assign all features for that reseller, so that reseller will have the same access with root

That's the best way to take it.

as our friend said above you can use this inside of /etc/passwd

but it is extremelly dangerous to you as you should probably know

if you open the file passwd you will easily see the structure of the entries inside.
you can then modify as suggested and also as advised, this is highly dangerous. Since you are very new, I would highly suggest not doing this. Keep root to yourself and your admin only. This is not something to fool with or your next posts will be asking how to rebuild cpanel.

    good luck

You can add a second root on both WHM and SSH but it's not
recommended, somewhat risky, and generally just plain stupid.

You would probably be much better off if your friend just gave you
the existing root login and password and you both use the
same root login to get online.

(Yes, you both can login as 'root' at the same time!)

If you look up at the first few replies to your thread, you will have your answer.
