Hello guys, I need to rename some package names to standardize and initiate a naming convention across several servers. How can I do this by renaming the currently assigned packages without breaking anything?

In the search results I found this thread from 2004 being linked from other threads dated on 2010, but I'm afraid it could be very outdated right now.

    Please give some advice.
    Thank you in advance!!!

    Hi @Kent Brockman

That thread is actually still relevant. Packages are stored in /var/cpanel/packages and you'd need to change the plan associated with the account at /var/cpanel/users/$USER

    Thanks!
