hello all I am new here and I am a learner. I wanted to practice php in my own computer with a live website backup.
I downloaded the public_html file in my computer and keep it in xamm/htdocs folder. but when I run xammp controll panel and go to browser localhost/public_html it shown nothing.. a black page..i thought it would be as same as the live website.
can you please tell me what should I do for it?

please reply me ....I am a new and learner.

You will get more answers by asking this question in a forum that is devoted to XAMPP. This forum is dedicated to discussion of cPanel, which does not use XAMPP at all.
