    HI,

    i install centos 5.2 with whm/cpanel,

    before it is online,

i hope i can use a program or script to run in my system,

and let it waste a lot of system resource,

and to check if the system and hardware is stable enough,

    can you give some suggestion?

    thanks

you can try hdparm for your disk speeds.

ab isn't standard installed on cPanel, but it would be nice if cPanel has sort of internal benchmark script so someone can troubleshoot their server performance.
