Hi All,

One of my hosting clients has created 12 POP accounts through Cpanel. and wants to create many more for his employees dotted around the world. His (good) question to me: 'how can I allow individual POP account owners to manage (eg. turn on, turn off, edit) their own auto-responders, without giving them all the same access to Cpanel that I have?'.

I don't know if this is possible - any advice anyone?

Thanks.

I think you can't do that with cpanel. You need to install another software package in order to do that =/

Oh well...
that's a very good question eh...

Maybe you want to submit a FEATURE REQUEST for this.
as I think hosts having multiple users (not one or two... maybe ten or a centenar...) could benefit of allowing things like this on individual pop acounts.

I think it will be anothe great addon to cpanel.

I think maybe in cpanel 7 SA is supported per-account (not sure).

At least in Cpanel6 stable most of the config _is there_, just no functionality in cpanel to enable/disable it.

Good news. Individual POP account holders can now manage their own auto-responders (and forwarding instructions). See options immediately after you login to your webmail (before you select Squirrelmail, horde, etc.).
