We have a server that runs cron on an account every minute and fills up our log emails. Is there a way to stop cron from emailing the server root email each time it is ran?

Edit the root crontab and add >/dev/null to the end of each of the commands, then restart crond.

    Hello :)

Yes, you could use the instructions in the previous post, or configure an email filter that automatically discards messages that meets certain criteria.

    Thank you.
