How Close MailScanner Report ?

    How can ı close virus report mail. Mailscanner always send report and i dont like report.

    Subject: Warning: E-mail viruses detected



    I was edit MailScanner.conf and verify "Still Deliver Silent Viruses = no "
    But its wrong. Maybe other option change.

    Help me

    In your Mailscanner.conf somewhere around line 722 you should change the following to no.

    Send notices = yes (( change to no ))

    Save and restart exim.

    Well, restart MailScanner rather than Exim ;)

    Chirpy, how can I get Mailscanner to scan for viruses first and then for spam (only if no viruses are found)? At the moment, it does the reverse (checking for spam first) and I couldn't see any setting in the config file to change the order. Thanks for your help.

    Yup, I remember it now. Thanks. Deleting the high-spam emails is a great option.
