I have one hosted account on virtual server. And i compare its cpanel to other cpanel. I find it does not have these features: PostgreSQL Databases,Server-Wide Spam & Virus Protection,Fantastico. How could i install these packages for this hosted account on virtual server? Many thanks in advance!

After this, i see these three new features in cpanel: Submit a Support Request,Image Manager ,Leech Protect . But i did not see "Server-Wide Spam & Virus Protection".
    2.
After i run /scripts/installpostgres, it is said:You should now configure postgresql from WHM!
But i do not know in which place of whm that i can configure. Could you tell me the name of the option that i can configure? Thanks!

"the new link for configuring Postgres in the first section in the menus"

check your ADD ons bottom off WHM (refresh WHM if you forgot)

SA is individual users not server wide

your forgot to edit your feature manager and add the new features

Server-Wide Spam and & Virus Protection is part of RVSkins.

So you would need to purchase and install RVSkin, then install the spam and virus update as posted on thier website. ( you will need ssh access to do that )

Sorry for keeping ask you this question. In the first section in the menus is Server Configuration, right? I did not see the new link for configuring Postgres. I just see: Basic cPanel/WHM Setup,Change Root Password,Initial Quota Setup,Server Time,Statistics Software Configuration,Tweak Settings,Update Config.
    2.
I think you are right. But I think we have purchased it because other hosted accounts' cpanel has this feature except the hosted account on virtual server. The one who purchased and installed RVSkins has gone. So i do not think i can get the source code of RVSkins. Is there a way i can aslo install/shall it on virtual server?

rvskins if it is inatalled you will have a rvskin manager in the add-ons secton of WHM
if you do switch you cpanel theme to a rvskin

if not rvskins are not free you must buy them

you would need to contact them to see if your ip is licensed

I am sorry. I do not know what is wrong with my side? But i still did not see it. In mySQL Services section, I just see them:
    SQL Services
    Additional MySQL Access Hosts
Change a User or Database Password
    MySQL Root Password
    Repair a Database
    Reset Local MySQL Root Password
    Setup Remote MySQL server
    Show MySQL Processes
    phpMyAdmin
    2.
Thanks for your help. I think i would ask rvskin how to install it on a virtual server.

I login this virtual server using ssh and run the script, you can see the below information.

    root@host [~]# /scripts/installpostgres
This script will install Postgres 7.3.x or later
If you have an older version installed you wil need to
Dump your databases to a file and then restore them
after the install as 7.3.x is not backwards compatible.
If you do not have any databases, you can just run:
    mv /var/lib/pgsql /var/lib/pgsql.old
    /sbin/service postgresql stop
    /sbin/service postgresql start
to force creating a 7.3.x style setup. Do not do this if
you have databases that you wish to keep!

Are you sure you wish to proceed? yes

see you never installed failed dependacies you need to install krb5-libs first
which does not apear to be avail for fedora 1 you will have to use a later build
    or find one @ rpmfind.net

I would try & rebuild your rpmdb first

    rm -fv /var/lib/rpm/__*
    rpm --rebuilddb -v -v

Fedora Core 1 living dagerously with a unsupported OS
