I'm using Mailman to create mailing lists on my server. I've made some mailman code changes on cPanel installation at /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/
Most likely next cpanel update will override it and I will be back to where I came from.
    Is it right?
If so then what can I do in order to prevent this? I need keep my mailman changes working even after cpanel upgrade...

    thanks for any help!

keep notes on what you changed and make your changes again after a cpanel upgrade.

or you could make the changed files immutable - chattr +i - so that they cannot be changed without taking off the immutable bit. however this could cause conflicts and problem with cpanel/mailman if there's an update for mailman and most of the files get updated but cpanel can't change the immutable files to update them, and they conflict with the new ones. Safer just to update it manually.
