Sorry for the repost but no one even looked at my other post. I changed the title.

    Hi,

I just went into my cpanel and set up a new ftp account. Now how do I access it?

    My settings are:

    url: www.domain.com (have tried ftp.domain.com)
username: the name I set (have tried the name I set@domain.com)
    password: my password

starting file: /public_html/the name I set (have tried /the name I set)

I can't get it to work.

    I'd appreciate any info.

    Thanks,
    Misha

    Hmm now it's working:

    url: ftp.domain.com
    username: username@ftp.domain.com
    password: password
    (no starting file)

    or ftp://username@ftp.domain.com for browser.

    Weird.

    ftp questions

This is exactly what I was looking for...but I have a question.

I have set my ftp up exactly as you did.

But if I put the URL www.domain.com/ftp_dir I created into a browser I can download files at will...I thoguth this would be locked.

    Any advice?

    Ryan
