how do i add domains

hello
i have created a account for a customer where i have allowed him to have addon domains along with his main domain . now he has his 2 sites earlier hosted elsewhere whose nameserevrs are still pointed at old server .
Now when i tried adding a domain to his account under me , it says , since the domain is already pointed to another server , domain can not be added . but if i ask him to move his nameservers now to us , he will loose mails by the time the changes takes place , right ?
how can i give this to him ?

In WHM:

Go to "Server Configuration"
Click on "Tweak Settings"
"Allow Creation of Parked/Addon Domains that resolve to other servers (ie domain transfers) [This can be a major security problem. If you must have it enabled, be sure to not allow users to park common internet domains.]"

It's the second option down on the second section (Domains). Uncheck it, save your settings, add the domain, re-set it.
