    Hello,

I am having some trouble with my mail accounts since I started using outlook 2007. The default folders that are created by the server are:

    INBOX
    INBOX.Trash
    INBOX.Drafts
    INBOX.Sent
    INBOX.Junk

Is there a way to change it on the server so that folders for email accounts are created without the INBOX. prefix. The webmail programs can read it just fine, it is the desktop email clients that are having trouble reading these folders. Where can I change the default email folder settings.

    Thank You,

    jeff

For my own mail client (mail.app on Mac), I simply set a setting for "IMAP Path Prefix" to "INBOX" and viola, everything works great!

    Thank you

I found it in the advanced options. Outlook called it a root folder setting
