Parked Domain: www.parkeddomainx.com

The parked domain HAS email accounts

I need to change the parked domain to an addon domain, but I do NOT want to lose the currently configured email accounts @parkeddomainx.com.

Is there a way to change the parked domain to an addon domain without having to recreate all of the email accounts?

Yes, it can be done but some manual work is required. First setup a new subdomain for the addon domain then you can make the parked domain an addon domain by making number of changes to the files at /var/cpanel/userdata/username.

The other way is to backup the email folder /home/username/mail/parkeddomain.com and then remove the parked domain from cPanel and setup it as addon domain. After that restore the email folder /home/username/mail/parkeddomain.com. You may also need to backup the passwd and shadow files for parkeddomain located at /home/username/etc.
