How Do I Control The Time When Backups Run?

    the /scripts/cpbackup is run from the /scripts/upcp script. The /scripts/upcp is run from root cron.

    I believe the default is something like 24 minutes after 1 am

    Log into shell as root and use
    crontab -e
    to edit the time cpanel updates are done.

    You want to edit the line that says something like:
    55 2 * * * /scripts/upcp

    Mine is set for 2:55am.
