how do i disable autoresponders (removing from feature manager doesnt help)

greetings:

i am trying to cancel all autoresponders on my domains.
I went into the WHM and disabled this option from the package feature list. so client cant add new auto responders via his cpanel interface.

trouble is that this only disables the auto responder manager that user sees, but does not cancel the autoresponders that exsist (set up before) - they still...auto respond..

any ideas?

If you want to completely disable existing autoresponder then simply delete /home/username/.autorespond directory ...here usename is the username for domain in question.

thanks, and how do i restore it?

sounds a bit rough deleting the directories... + I have more than 100 users..

how will i be able to restore it once again, if i'll want this option in the future?
