Hello, we have cPanel set up with reseller accounts, and in each reseller account we have domains.

In two of our reseller accounts we have one domain missing, compared to our known list of domains that should be there.

There are way, way, too many domains to do a visual comparison, so we want to export a list of the domains in each reseller account.

List Accounts >> Find by Reseller is good as far as it goes, but there's no way to export a list of domains for the "found" reseller, as .CSV or any other format.

"Fetch CSV" is a piece of junk! Sorry, it is:

    • Instead of only the domains in the "found" reseller account, it gives ALL domains on the server, all jumbled together.

    • And also, there is no way to then export the results of "fetch .CSV" except to copy and paste (how 90's) into a spread sheet, and then the columns are not preserved...only the rows.

    • Seriously, what's the point of fetching something in comma separated text, if you can't then do anything with it?

    • Where's the command to "export" once you've "fetched" it?

Any other way to export a list of domains in a specific reseller account?

    Or, am I missing something?

Many thanks, if someone can help.

    Steve

In my opinion, this thread should be a Feature Request.

A Reseller should see only his accounts listed here on this page.

If root is logged in, some sort of drop down menu for him to select the Reseller so that he can view just that Resellers accounts.

Fetching this list via CSV should prompt to save a properly formatted .csv file generated by server. If a single Reseller is selected, spit out his accounts, if no Reseller selected it should spit out all accounts to root user.

Since a reseller owns an account, this can be pulled from /var/cpanel/root.accts location in root SSH:

    Code:
    grep resellername /var/cpanel/root.accts | awk {'print $1'} | cut -d, -f 1 | sort
This will return a list of the main domain accounts that the reseller user owns. Here resellername would be replaced by the reseller's name.
