How do I get top to always show the descriptive version

    On one server I have:

    9091 nobody 9 0 10596 10M 9956 S 0.4 1.1 0:00 /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -DSSL

    On the other I have:

    How do I get top on the second one to read like the first?

    You can use top with -c command line switch ..then create an alias in .bashrc file to make it permanent....alternatively htop is a nice tool to view process info similar to top with extended functionality..

    Go on, have a guess
    Or, when in top, press c then press W and it will save your settings for the next time you run top.
