This isn't exactly a cPanel question, but to do work with files in cPanel, you'll use the cPanel File Manager. There should be a link to it in your cPanel. That should get you going, lots of good links via google on using jQuery Lightbox.

Please can you give a better explanation? Honestly I cannot find one good tutorial that works with cPanel.
    I am so stuck.
If you find an online tutorial that works with cPanel, I'll be happy to use it.

jQuery lightbox is for your website not cPanel. Are you using a script for your website? Whats it called?

No I do not think I am using any scripts for my site,
I understand that it is for my website, not cPanel.
But you need to work with it through cPanel in order to get it working.
Adding codes in, uploading the .js files etc, that's all done through cPanel.

So let's assume you've got a file called index.html on your account that you want to add jQuery to. From your cPanel, find the File Manager icon and click. When it opens, on left side navigate that tree to the public_html directory. If you have an index.html in there, that same location is this:

    yourdomain.com/index.html

Lets say that page is blank, no code in it. To test you could simply do some copy/paste from this page example provided:

    jQuery Complete Example

To edit that file called index.html in that public_html directory, click it once, and then find the edit option at top of page to open and edit. Or, right click the file you wish to edit and choose edit. Be sure to save that file first before making any changes in case of problems.

The jQuery site has it's own forum: Discussion - jQuery JavaScript Library

    Good luck.

Alright, I will move on to that forum.
You did not really answer my question, and I knew how to do what you just explained.
But thank you, I understand that my question belongs in the jQuery forum, not here.
    Thanks anyway.
