How do I restore from backup on remote FTP server?

It could be the dumbiest question in the world, but I cann't figure out how to do that. Our backup is set to remote only and backups account on specified FTP server. So here is the question: how do I restore an account from backup on remote FTP?

When I press Restore Backups in WHM it says: "Sorry, there are no backups located at ... ".

I've downloaded corresponding backup archive in the specified directory, but got the same sad result.

Anyone, experienced, please help.

you can copy the archive file (usually in the fromat username.tar.gz ) to /home and execute the command


/scripts/restorepkg username

via ssh

You will have to use

/scripts/restorepkg --force username

if the account hasn't been terminated
