    Hi people!
I need to move my mysql databases. For this I need to stop mysql which is fine, but cpanel or something keeps on restarting it automatically. How do I stop the auto restarts temporarily while I move the database?

    Thanks.

    # /etc/init.d/chkservd stop

Will prevent mysql restarting, when you stop it.

    # /etc/init.d/chkservd start

Once you are all done, to restart the service checks. :)
