I'd like to run apache 2 on my server, however, I'm not sure how to do this:
Using the "update apache" link only updated my apache from 1.3.39 to 1.3.41, so how do I get apache 2?

I did manage to install apache 2 through the command line , but I'm not sure how to use it with cpanel (when trying "apache setup" , I only see version 1.3.41)

    My setup:
    WHM 11.23.2 cPanel 11.23.6-R27698
    CENTOS Enterprise 4.7 i686 on standard - WHM X v3.1.0

    Thanks!

When going to WHM -> Software -> Apache Update, proceed through the build process and when you get to the screen that prompts you for which version of Apache you wish to use, select Apache 2.0.

If at any time you are prompted to update your cPanel installation, it is recommended you do so then return to the Apache Update screen.
