    How do I upgrade to the BETA Tree:
    10.4.0 (build 233) - BETA Tree Sun Jul 31 14:41:25 2005
    Installer Speedups

    Is the BETA Tree different that the Bleeding EDGE tree?
    "Edge is the bleeding edge tree"

    My update preferences are set to bleeing edge, how ever I ran updatenow, then upcp, and even updatenow, then upcp --force and WHM still shows build 195
    WHM 10.3.1 cPanel 10.4.0-E195

    How can I update to 233?

    Beta is just that Beta, it is not ment to be used by customers, but to be used by our internal QA dept.

    edit /etc/cpupdate.conf

    You'll see something like this:
    CPANEL=manual-edge
    RPMUP=manual
    SYSUP=manual

    Change it to the latest current build
    CPANEL=manual-Beta
    RPMUP=manual
    SYSUP=manual

    It is actually:
    CPANEL=manual-beta

    But as Billy said, its probably a bad idea to run this unless you work for cpanel and are trying to find bugs before its released to the public.
