I would like to move my SMF forums in one database into my Joomla database. Does anyone know how this can be done or a tutorial?

    Thanks

hi, I went into phpmyadmin, but then I don't know what to do. I tired pressing on the import button but it seems to only let me move things from my harddrive.

    do you have shell access?

if not use cPanel > Mysql database backup or phpmyadmin.

    inside phpmyadmin ,
first export your original database in sql or .gz format.
creat your new or use existing database and click on import and select the earlier file.
