I am upgrading servers and moving everything to a bigger better server, same DC.
I have the rest of the migration plan worked out but I would like to migrate the packages as well. Since it migrates the cpanel accounts which are all package based.. will it automatically re-create the packages?

Do i need to re-create the packages prior to moving accounts?

Can I do that without manually creating them?

Just copy over the /var/cpanel/packages folder.

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

When transfering domains to the new server use the "Copy multiple accounts from another server" feature on the new server which will also let you select the packages you wish to transfer.
