One way is to remove the theme and then do a upcp and it will be replaced. If you have any 3rd party addon links you'll have to restore them:
cd /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend
mv x x.old
mkdir x
/scripts/upcp --force
cd /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend
mv x x.old
mkdir x
/scripts/upcp --force
