How i can stop logging/delete logs?

    Hi,


    I have a Question to you:

    It is possible to stop the logging for all?

    also:

    FTP,Errors,lastest visitors,HTTP, and other (All logs)

    if its possible? and if possible then how?

    And where are the logfiles stored to delet them?

    Mail logs :- /var/log/exim_mainlog
    Http logs :- /usr/local/apache/logs/
    Clients logs :- /usr/local/apache/domlogs/
    Ftp transfer logs :- /usr/local/apache/domlogs/ftp.*
    Server activities :- /var/log/messages

    If I am wrong somewhere, somebody please correct me.

    Some logs require restarting the related service to actually clear disk space, so cleaning logs isn't always as simple as just deleting the files.

    As far as not logging, just remove the lines that do the logging in the httpd.conf file and restart apache.

    Logs are usually a good thing though. If you want to stop logging, maybe you need to think about why and do something else, like rotating logs if space is a problem. If server load is a problem, you've got too much on the server or need more RAM or CPU to handle the load.
