    Hi,

    I am pretty new to this.

    How many CA cert do I need to be a WHM.

    I know 1 CA for sure is the cpanel and whm login.
    Do I need it for ftp, email and etc or I use the same CA.

    My plan is just to secure cpanel/whm, ftp, email, database.

    Someone please advise.

    Thanks...

    Regards,

    NewOne

    Do you mean you wish you use SSL certificate for accessing cPanel/WHM, ftp/mail etc? If yes, you need to buy SSL certificate for your server hostname and install it from WHM >> Install a SSL certificate >> Enter username as nobody & mention your host name and certificate details.

    Hope this helps.

    After that you go to
    WHM-> SSL/TLS-> Manage SSL Hosts
    and select that certificate as the shared SSL certificate.
    and then you go to
    WHM-> Service Configuration-> Manage Service SSL Certificates
    and install that certificate ("Install new Certificate") for all the services.
