How migrate cPanel&WHM on new hardware?

Hello,

We have a cPanel&WHM version 110.0.8 on linux server Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 7.9.

We would like to upgrade cPanel to version 112.0.5 but I can't because I have Red Hat 7.9.


Now, we have a plan to install a new server with Red Hat 9 and migrate our cPanel to it.

Is there any procedure for cPanel&WHM migration, migration our users?

Yes, it's called the WHM transfer tool. You can use it to transfer system settings, packages, accounts etc. Having said that, I don't believe that cPanel supports Red Hat 9. You'd need to look at AlmaLinux, CloudLinux, RockyLinux or Ubuntu (cPanel system requirements)

We have to install new machine with CloudLinux 8, Rocky Linux or AlmaLinux 8 then migrate cPanel accounts on this new machine.
Which operating system do you recommend, which is more similar to Red Hat?

Which operating system is recommended to install for cPanel&WHM?

At the moment I'd recommend AlmaLinux 8/CloudLinux 8.
